Segundo día en Hellen Skole

Nuestros socios han abierto sus puertas de séptimo grado para que observemos cómo se organizan. La organización es similar a la de ayer. Los tres grupos están en un mismo espacio que está dividido en tres por unas cristaleras. Dejan las puertas abiertas y uno de los 4 profesores que hay allí explica a todo el grupo lo que tienen que hacer en la  sesión. Nadie interrumpe en ningún momento durante la explicación.

Cuando empiezan a realizar la tarea, el papel de los docentes es servir de apoyo y consulta a todo lo que hacen. El alumnado trabaja interaccionando todo el rato sin elevar el tono de voz. Llama la atención un niño que no hace la tarea y se va a otro lugar sin que nadie les diga nada. Cuando pregunto a los docentes por qué nadie le dice nada me explican que no se llama la atención al alumnado que no quiere hacer la tarea, simplemente se le invita de vez en cuando a que lo haga, aunque no ha participado en toda la mañana. No son estrictos en disciplina.

La actitud del profesorado es amigable. 

Al finalizar el brake, es otra maestra la que da la explicación. Hacen una exposición por parejas y el profesorado anota una escala de observación que tienen para todas las exposiciones orales. Al final, tiene una sesión de trabajo libre, en la que algunos leen, otros bailan con la maestra y otros realizan actividades online de una olimpiada matemática en la que participan con todo Bergen.

Our partners have opened their 7th grade doors for us to watch as they get organized. The organization is similar to yesterday. They leave the doors open and one of the 4 teachers there explains to the whole group what they have to do in the session. No one interrupts at any time during the explanation. When they begin to do the task, the role of teachers is to support and consult everything they do. The students work interacting all the time without raising the tone of voice. A child who does not do his homework and goes to another place without anyone saying anything to them draws attention. When I ask the teachers why no one says anything to them, they explain to me that students who do not want to do their homework are not called to attention, they are simply invited to do it from time to time, even though they have not participated all morning. They are not strict in discipline. The attitude of the teachers is friendly. At the end of the brake, it is another teacher who gives the explanation. They make a presentation in pairs and the teacher writes down an observation scale that they have for all the oral presentations. At the end, he has a free work session, in which some read, others dance with the teacher and others carry out online activities of a mathematical Olympiad in which all of Bergen participate.
